Ivory's Story
Ivory Mason Williams is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Barriers Breakthrough Non-Profit Organization, bringing both professional expertise and deeply personal purpose to her work. As a Certified Peer Support Specialist, she holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and a Master’s in Mental Health & Wellness—credentials that reflect her commitment to understanding and serving individuals at every stage of their journey.
Her passion is rooted in lived experience. Through her work at the clinic, Ivory supports adult clients who were often overlooked as children and young adults—individuals who, like her own son, were impacted by systems that were not equipped with the tools, awareness, or resources to properly address mental health needs. She has witnessed firsthand the long-term effects of those gaps, and it is this understanding that fuels her mission.
Ivory leads with compassion, advocacy, and intention. She is dedicated to creating pathways for healing, education, and empowerment—ensuring that families and individuals no longer have to navigate these challenges alone or unheard. Through Barriers Breakthrough, she is not only addressing unmet needs but actively working to reshape the narrative around mental health, access, and community support for generations to come.
